Service Panels
A Generator-Ready Load Center is a combination main breaker load center and manual transfer switch in one. This product is ideally installed at the time of construction, but is appropriate when you’re upgrading your service as well. This unit serves as your electrical panel and generator transfer switch – eliminating the need for a separate transfer switch down the road. Feed generator power to this whole panel during an outage and manually select which circuits you want to run — up to the maximum continuous wattage of the generator. This model includes a 200 amp Utility main breaker and 50 amp generator main mechanically interlocked to prevent dangerous backfeeding, thereby avoiding property damage and serious injury to utility workers. All models must be connected to a power inlet box (sold separately – use model 63652 or 6365V) or hardwired to the generator. Indoor NEMA 1 enclosure can be flush or surface mounted in a garage, basement or interior room, and accommodates up to 34 circuits. Patented interlock remains intact when cover is removed. Service entrance rated, UL Listed UL 67, and Listed with interchangeable type breakers from Siemens, Square D (HOM) and Cutler-Hammer (BR). Standard 24-month warranty.
